What do I need to do to verify my bank account?

You can have multiple bank accounts linked to your EasyEquities profile (up to 2 per currency - ZAR including TFSA, USD, AUD, GBP and EUR).

If you didn't set up bank account details when you registered, please note that you will first need to have verified banking details in order to access certain features like Recurring Investments and Withdrawals.

You can add, update, delete or change your banking details online here.

Please also note the following:

Once you've captured your banking details, our third-party verification process kicks off Provided. Automatic verifications can take up to 24 hours to be verified, provided the information captured is correct and matches the details on your EasyEquities profile..

Bank details MUST be in the name of the EasyEquities account holder - no third-party bank accounts (i.e. belonging to someone other than the EasyEquities account holder) will be verified.

If you do not bank with any of the below banks*, or for some reason this verification process fails, please send us a recent copy (no older than 3 months) of your bank statement or an official bank confirmation letter so we can verify them manually.
