We suggest you use the EasyFX feature to transfer funds back to your ZAR account for your convenience.
However, if you wish to withdraw directly to a bank account, you can use any bank account worldwide that is in your name to withdraw your funds from your EasyEquities USD account, as long as your bank accepts international payments.
You may capture specific details for an additional bank account for your USD withdrawals or you may use your previously captured ZAR bank account details (given that foreign payments are accepted by this bank). Please make sure you capture your bank’s SWIFT code correctly to ensure the payment goes to the correct bank, in the correct country.
Information requested by your bank
Should your bank request additional information from you in order to process your withdrawal, please consult this article with a guide on how to attain this.
Fees
Please keep in mind that your bank may charge you additional fees for processing an international receipt of funds and there may be additional fees for any currency conversion done by your bank. See our guide to fees and how to optimise costs on an international withdrawal here.
