Getting funds into your EasyEquities account using your Discovery Bank app

Transferring funds to EasyEquities

Fund your EasyEquities account instantly by following these simple steps: 

  • Open your Discovery Bank app
  • Log in
  • Click on "Transact"
  • Click on "Transfer"
  • Choose which account to transfer funds from
  • From the "To" option, click on EasyEquities ZAR
  • Enter your amount
  • Enter a reference for the transfer
  • Click "Next"
  • Click "Transfer"


Inter-Account Transfers between EasyEquities accounts:

Currently, you will only be able to transfer funds from your Discovery bank APP to your EasyEquities ZAR account. For transferring ZAR to your AUD/USD/GBP/EUR or any other available EasyEquities accounts (TFSA, EasyProperties), you will need to log in to the EasyEquities platform to continue using our EasyFX process.
(You can log into your EasyEquities account by clicking the central "EasyEquities" button when viewing your EasyEquities portfolio on your Discovery Bank app.)


Withdrawing funds from EasyEquities back to your Discovery Bank APP

Simply transfer your EasyEquities funds back to your Discovery bank APP by following the below steps: 

  • Open your Discovery Bank app
  • Log in
  • Click on "Transact"
  • Click on "Transfer"
  • Choose your EasyEquities ZAR account to transfer funds "from"
  • For the "To" option, click on the Discovery bank account you wish to return the funds to
  • Enter your amount
  • Enter a reference 
  • Click "Next"
  • Click "Transfer"

Currently, you will only be able to transfer international funds by loging into your full EasyEquities profile and requesting a withdrawal. Please review this FAQ for international withdrawals. Please ensure you have your Discovery Bank banking details loaded on the EasyEquities platform.
