What is EasyCredit and how does it work?

EasyCredit allows you to borrow up to R300 000 which can be used as you wish, based on the amount of qualifying investments you own in your portfolio. Qualifying investments consist of the top 100 shares and the most liquid ETFs.

We will allow you to borrow 33% of the value of the qualifying investments you own in your portfolio. This means if you have R100 invested in the top 100 shares and most liquid ETFs, you qualify for a R33 loan.

The term of the loan is 12 months. This means that a loan must be fully paid back within 12 months, though you are able to pay it back sooner if you wish to do so. You can read a bit more about how to do this below.

You are able to use your ZAR and TFSA accounts as collateral when applying for a loan.

There is no minimum loan amount.

EasyCredit loans will be registered under the NCR (National Credit Regulator)
