What do I need to do to verify my bank account?

✅ App     ✅ Website     ❎ Capitec Widget

You can have different bank accounts linked to your EasyEquities (one for your ZAR/TFSA, one for your USD account, one for your AUD account) and you may have already entered these details whilst registering your account.

You will need to have verified bank account details in order to access certain features like Recurring Investments and Withdrawals.

You can update, delete or change your banking details online here - https://platform.easyequities.io/Profile/AllBankDetails Please ensure the following:

1. Capture your details correctly (bank account number)

2. Capture your Branch Code (Universal)

3. Capture your Branch Name (Universal)

4. Capture your SWIFT/ BIC code if you have a foreign bank account

Once the details have been captured, our third-party verification process starts. It can take up to 24 hours to verify your banking details provided that your details have been captured correctly.

No third-party bank details (that of another person) can be verified and bank details must be in the name of the account holder.

If you do not bank with any of the below banks, or for some reason this verification process fails, please send us your latest copy of the bank statement or bank confirmation letter for us to manually have your account details verified.
