- Use the drop-down menu to select the same bank as one you bank with. You can copy the detailsto paste into your bank app.
- Bank to Bank is generally recommended, but if you don't see details for your bank in the options provided, you can still use any of the bank details provided - just make sure your deposit reference is correct.
- Tap the "Copy" button next to your EFT reference to ensure it's correct when making the deposit from your bank - you'll see this button just under your EasyEquities ZAR balance at the top of your screen.
- Open your banking app.
- Paste our banking details and your EFT reference when adding us as a beneficiary.
- Save and make your deposit.
If you bank with Capitec, you could save us a registered beneficiary on your banking app and do an immediate payment (R6.50) if speed is important, however, consider using Capitec Pay for faster deposit allocation and a low fee of R1*.
Important Note: Each account has a unique EFT reference - make sure to double-check this before transferring to a different rand account.
* Always refer to our cost profile to confirm our current fees.
Always use the unique EFT reference shown on the EFT Deposit page of the account you're wanting to deposit into. (e.g. EE-123456).
Incorrect reference = delayed processing.
If you're in eSwatini, Namibia, or Lesotho, your deposit must now be processed as a cross-border forex transaction - not a regular EFT.
This ensures compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorism Financing) laws, and helps keep your funds safer.
