How do I edit or cancel a 3rd party debit order?

A 3rd party debit order occurs when the bank account from which the funds are coming, doesn't belong to the EasyEquities account holder. (Ie. the bank account belongs to a parent / spouse of the EasyEquities account holder)

To find out if there is one set up on your account:

  • Log in to your account
  • Navigate to the stack menu on the top left hand corner of the page and select 'My Recurring Investments'
  • You will be able to identify "Third Party Debit Order" under the 'Payment Method' column on this page which shows you the recurring investments set up on your account.

Because in this case the bank account doesn't belong to the EasyEquities account holder, he / she cannot authorize a change to the debit order on the platform and will need our assistance to do so.

To cancel or change the details of the debit order, please submit a ticket with subject header "Change to Third Party Debit Order" and specify the exact changes you would like to make. Our client engagement agent will then assist you in making them.
