Yes. Capitec clients who have not yet opened an EasyEquities account will need to go through the EasyEquities registration within the widget. We’re required to gather information from our clients which is similar to what you would have provided Capitec when opening your Capitec bank account.
Our registration is completely online and in most cases there is no need to send any FICA documents (ID book/Smart ID card or Proof of Address). If EasyEquities needs any additional details or documents, as part of the registration from you, the team will communicate with you via email.
