My deposit is not reflecting
One of the (many) reasons we’re so excited about the EasyEquities widget within the Capitec app is that it makes transferring money into your EasyEquities account seamless. If, however, you had funded your EasyEquities account via an EFT from your internet banking you could find that your deposit does not reflect in your account.
This may be because the default reference in your online banking is set to your name, as opposed to your EasyEquities number, which we require to allocate the funds. It’s how we ensure that the money is allocated to the correct account.
If it’s been over 2 business days since you made the deposit and you suspect this could be the case, you will need to follow the steps outlined in this article.
In future, fund your account through the EasyEquities widget on your Capitec app – it's accessible when you have the latest version which you can download or update on the App Store or Google Play.
